If you ever crave pie in Texas...

I was talking to a friend at work recently about how Texans sure do love to be reminded of Texas even when they are in Texas. I have never seen anything like it. So on my recent trip to visit Donavan, I couldn't pass up a photo op when I spotted this tiny pie. Somehow I can't see pies with the state of Kansas on them selling very well here. Those crAzy Texans...

Up to my ears in sugar!

Last week was a week for baking! With Elissa's birthday lunch on Friday and a Twilight party on Saturday, I was up to my ears in batter and icing! Check out my creations...

Adorable to the nth degree

Thanks go out to Rachel for sharing these sickeningly adorable pictures. Anyone who knows me knows that 2 things in this world that will make me squeal with excitement are 1.) baby pigs and 2.) dachshunds. Apparently the mama dachshund, Tink, adopted the piglet, Pink, into her litter. There's already a children's book being written about the whole ordeal. Crazy but oh-so-freaking-cute.
